Basically .. it's 40% off the rack rate of the ROOM ONLY portion of your package.
So yes.. since deluxes cost more.. you'll save more. No.. it won't be cheaper than a moderate.. because.. don't forget.. the moderate is 40% off too. What you may find.. is that it's certainly
not very much MORE for a deluxe.
How much for a deluxe stay? There are a bunch of different deluxe resorts all with different room rates. It'd be impossible to quote you anything reliable. And of course your offer is predicated on room availability. Some resorts no longer have rooms at the 40% discount available.
The reservations center can confirm with you what deluxes have availability (if any) for your travel dates... and they would be best equipped to give you quotes on the price range.
You can do a quick quote of the room only portion by going to WaltDisneyWorld.com .. and choosing your dates and the number of people staying in the room and selecting ROOM ONLY.
The price that comes up.. (let's call it PRICE-A for room only) .. multiply that times 0.60 .. and that roughly is the room only portion of your stay. (We'll call that PRICE-B)
Do the same thing with your dates and ages of your party .. except this time as a 'package' and subtract the amount of PRICE A from the total. That's how much your tickets & add-ons are costing you. (TICKETS&ETC)
Add TICKETS&ETC to PRICE-B -- and that's your rough total with savings. Make sense? Clear as mud?
Now you see why I said just call CRO and ask.
One final warning.. just because a given resort shows availability online doesn't mean there are still rooms available with the discount offer.
Good luck!
