Question about my bunny, please

I couldn't find an answer online and I know several Disers have pet rabbits and could probably help me out. Can I put bacitracin (sp?) or some other topical cream on an open sore? I noticed the other day that my bunny had a scab on the back of her neck, right between her two ears. The last time I cleaned her kennel I found a couple of ants and I think she got bit by them. Anyway, I looked again today and she had scratched off the scab and now it's raw again. It doesn't look infected. I don't know what to put on it, if anything. What do you think? Thanks.

I don't have a rabbit, but I have used polysporin on my cats before. I've also cleaned minor scrapes with hydrogen peroxide. It will kill the bugs. But you probably want to do a search on appropriate medications for rabbits. I'm sure if you do a thorough google search you can find the information you are looking for.
