Question about moving my trip

Ok so i am currently booked for BC for 9/18-25 with a pin Deluxe Dining with plans on doing the MNSSHP



Recently i have started debating about moving my trip to August and staying for 2 Weeks at POP with Deluxe dining and a 10day park hopper.

Just realized i gotta make a decision today or tomorrow since i would have to make ADR's on 2/17

Couple of Questions:

Am i crazy for doing this??

How much do u think the price difference would be?

It depends on if you can use your pin for the other days, or another discount is released.

Deluxe Dining would cost the same no matter what.
The difference between an 8-Day Park Hopper and a 10-Day is only about $7/pp

The Room would be the major difference, and that's what would depend on your discount.
If your pin was the 30/35/40%, then you'll "save" more with the Deluxe, but Pop will cost less overall. Here's an estimate:
Beach Club Standard Room (40%) - $1606 for 7 nights (9/18-25)
POP Standard Room (30%) - $870 for 13 nights (8/18-31)

So if you're looking at the difference between how much you will spend, then Pop Century will be about $800 less than Beach Club.

Without a discount Beach Club would be $2678 and Pop would be $1244.

Personally, I don't think I would want to stay at a Value Resort on the Deluxe Dining Plan, unless I had a car with me. However, staying for 2 weeks is tempting.

I stay for 2 weeks at Pop with Free Dining. I don't do DxDP but I enjoy having some days without going to a park.

I guess it depends on how you are going to use your DxDP credits. You can still use them at the parks or at resorts near parks for TS.

Going for 14 days, I would upgrade to an AP. You might get some resort discounts as well...

I personally would not want to spend 2 weeks at a value. Especially if my first trip was planned for the BC. Is there a happy middle?

I was thinking about the middle thing as well...
I just checked 8/1-8/14 with the current GP discount. Room Only...the tickets and Dining Rules still apply the same.
AKL Pool View = $2377 (so more than Pop and Beach Club with their respective lengths)
WL Standard = $2282 (still more)
Port Orleans/Caribbean Beach Standard = $1929
All would be more, but maybe a little nicer?

You can't make your ADRs until 3/17 -- not 2/17 -- so you have plenty of time to decide.

i can make ADRs on 2/17 as that is 180 days out
