We have ADR's for Tony's Town Square on Sept 5th at 5:30 - one of the nights of MNSSHP. After we eat dinner, is the park only open to ticket holders and will we have to leave? :confused3

Yes. The park will close officially at 7:00 p.m. and the CMs will be herding anyone out that does not have a MNSSHP wristband on.

Thanks!

Ok...one more question....is it the type of thing that we could purchase tickets that night before we enter the park for dinner? Or do we have to purchase in advance?

If the party has not sold out, then yes you can buy tickets the night of. Since you will be there the night of the first party, I would bet it would be pretty crowded. Maybe someone else will post if the first party sold out last year or how the crowds were. We went to the second party last year and it was pretty crowded. Very long lines for the characters especially! We waited for almost 40 minutes to have our family picture taken in front of Cinderella's coach and that was at about 11:00 p.m. after the 2nd parade. My husand wasn't too pleased, but I just could not leave without that picture and it is probably my favorite one from our trip.

I'm going that night as well. The few things to keep in mind are...this is very early for the party to start. I'm hoping that most people aren't going to be in a Halloween mood yet. It's also right after Labor Day, so hope most have left. The other thing is that that Friday night there is the first night for Night of Joy iin DHS. Hoping that keeps the numbers for MNSSHP down a bit as well.
But, then again....I could be completely wrong and the park could be swamped!!!

Thanks Diane and Tiffany!! All good things to keep in mind!

We are hoping the crowds are thin the week we are there - being after Labor Day. But with free dining, probably not!! I forgot about the Night of Joy - maybe that will keep the crowds down. We will see!!
