Question about merchandise phone interview..?

I still have a few months to wait, so it seems silly to be this paranoid already but I have a few questions about merchandise/phone interview/general CP questions.
Mainly...I have not(at this time) held any retail job. HOWEVER...I took a two year class on marketing/sales in highschool, and have a national certification in retail trades. Is that something worth telling them, or would it not matter since I was in hs? It loosely relates to my major(business/bus mgmt)
How many people actually make it to a phone interview? Will my lack of job experience affect me too much, if i have significant volunteer experience?
I just really want this, it's been my dream for so long, i'd hate to mess up over something silly.

The most important thing you posted was, "I just really want this, it's been my dream for so long". If you can convey that passion and express how eager you are to learn from a company like Disney then you'll be fine. Many people every semester get accepted into the program with little to no job experience at all. Disney understands that this is an internship and first job for many students.

Merchandise is one of the larger roles and accepts a lot of people. I think sharing your certification and coursework you have taken will be fine. For Merch they will ask about previous experience with cash handling if you have none you should say that and explain that you would be comfortable doing so and are eager to learn.
