Question about meals at Cinderella's Castle?

We are going in August and have a four year old.

Can someone tell me what the difference is between the Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner? It seems like everyone goes mad for the Breakfast, but it also seems like characters are at all of the meals. Is there something more special about the breakfast?

It could be that people seem more wild about breakfast because for a long time that was the only character meal in the castle. Some people are unhappy that they have added a character element to lunch and dinner because now there is no chance to dine in the castle without any characters at all. There are more characters there for breakfast and lunch than there are at dinner. Each has its own menu.

The character at dinner were Cinderella in the Lobby Only, Fairy Godmother and Female Mice upstairs during dining with no interaction with your child just running around singing.

The reason why we go for the breakfast and not the lunch or dinner is because we are usually there with picky eaters and breakfast is the easiest meal to find something that everyone recognizes and will actually eat. :confused3

While I will not be doing Cinderellas Table anymore due to the price increase, previously we picked breakfast because my DD will eat breakfast food but not much regular lunch-type food.

Another reason is the price of breakfast is less than lunch.

So the only difference now between lunch and dinner is the food (and the price, I guess). They both have the princesses.

Dinner is different in that you only see Cinderella in the lobby downstairs for pictures. No princesses circulate during dinner. The fairygodmother and the mice do a little "show" but do not go table to table for pictures.

I believe breakfast is more popular due to the fact that they can meet the other princesses, while I believe lunch and dinner do not feature the other princesses. To tell you the truth, however, with the increase in price and change in format, we were not all that happy with the CRT breakfast, and probably would not go back.

I do, however, feel that kids should experience this at least once. I loved the food, but you just feel rushed out because they have such a back-log of ADRs waiting to get in. I'd say if you have a larger group, you may have a better chance of not getting rushed with your food.
