Question about MDE accounts - should we have multiple?

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to ask, but...I will be making a reservation for a WDW package (on-site resort and tickets) for all 10 people of our family. I am currently the only one with a MDE account set up. I was thinking it would streamline everything to have it all in one place and I will make all the ADR.

Is it practical to do it this way? The 10 people represent three families - my husband and myself and our two grown kids and their families. I have the most time to organize the trip. Will each family need someone to create their own MDE account down the road anyway? And if everything is left under my account, can each family still add their own credit card info to their MagicBands?

Oh I just saw someone posted a similar question a couple weeks ago. Looks like I can (should?) keep it all under my MDE and just give everyone the login to use. And that everyone can enter their own CC info on their MagicBand once at the resort (not in advance?)

They can have their own accounts and still be friends on yours as well. That way if there are things ya'll all want to do together, it can be under your account with them added as friends and if there are things they want to do separate, they can do it under their account. Let's face it, with 10 people there can be a bit too much closeness and people might want to split off and go do their own thing.

By being friends on my account, does that mean to link our accounts together? If I make all the FP and ADR on my account and then they create their own MDE accounts afterwards, will their FP and ADRs transfer automatically? In spite of reading many posts about this, I still don't get it!

If you add them as friends on your account and make ADRs or FP and add them to it, it will show up on their account. If the make their own MDE accounts they can add you or anyone else as a friend and add them to any FP or ADRs they make. You pick who you want to add to any ADRs or FPs on your account every time you book one. You can pick who to add to each ADR or FP and so can they. I don't think they can cancel themselves off any ADRs or FPs that you have added them to on your account. They do have to have tickets to be added to FPs. Just play with it for awhile.
