Question about MC

Has anyone used American Vacation Homes management company? We are renting a condo at Windsor Hills through them. We are all paid up and have not yet received any written confirmation, directions, or address/key instructions yet. We are leaving in 2 1/2 weeks. How soon do you get this stuff? Should I start worrying?

we used villa direct for our windsor hills rental. I remember getting our info about a month before our trip. Nevertheless, I'd call the co and the owner.

Gosh. The folks I used have everything I need via email the moment they charge the card. Also it is the same property I chose months in advance.

I would be emailing daily until I have everything in order to your satisfaction. This might be the norm for many owners or agencys but....why?

No way should I need to follow up with someone I have given money to. They should be contacting me.

If anyone would question the practice, I can insert exerpts from my recent transactions for comparison.

I am a homeowner in Windsor Hills and I send out everything 2 weeks prior to the arrival date. Mostly it is done for security reasons and the lockbox code may change during the wait time if I send the info out several months in advance. Many people aren't in the vacation mindset until a couple of weeks before their arrival date. However, you should still ask when you will receive the arrival information. I do accomodate my guests with an address after I have received payment in full if they want to order groceries, etc.

I am a home owner in Indian Creek and like Dreaming WDW says as soon as the final payment is done I have sent out all their information including directions and key codes etc. I see no need to wait till a week before etc. I have the codes re-programmed for each guest and they have a unique code.
I would call and email to find out when they are going to be able to get this information to you.
