hi we never did one of this and my and my soon to be wife are comming to disney around then for her brithday. I was wondering if there was a fast pace walk we can sign up and do or is it all Running?

You can walk any of the races (1/2 or full) as long as you maintain a 16 minute/mile pace. This pace is based off when the last person crosses the start line. There will be "sweepers" following the field at this pace. If you can't stay in front of them you will be pulled off the course.

When signing up, there's not any separate category for walkers. During registration, you are asked what your anticipated finish time is. For most beginner walkers, it's usually close to the full allotted time (3.5 hrs for the Half and 7 hrs for the Full). You will likely be in the last corrall for the start. This means the professional ;) runners will start at exactly 5:30AM, but those of us in the last corrall (yes, been there, done that) don't cross the start line until about 6:00 - 6:10AM. It's all good though! There are lots and lots and lots of folks who walk the entire thing. No worries about that! Maybe super power walk or jog just a couple miles to ensure a good distance between you and the sweepers at the back of the pack. Just be sure to do your training so your body is prepared, and you and your fiance will do great! :)

Wanted to add - there are lots of opportunities for character meets and photos along the course. This eats up a lot of time! So if you're truly planning on walking most/all of the course, you likely won't have time for any character stops. You can still snap action photos while you're walking along, but again, you likely wouldn't have time to actually stop to be IN the photo as there are lines! I've managed a few characters but I only stop if there is no line. And I run half the time and walk half the time.
