Question about making a rental car reservation online

Eventhough my family & I have already made our reservation next month for Avis I was wondering for the future if we book our rental car online, are we able to pick up at 1 Airport location & return at a different Airport location? Since we were not sure, that is why we called Avis & did not make the reservation through their website.

Yes - its easy and done often.

Under the pick up location there is a spot to "drop off at this location" or "choose another". Once you click "choose another" a choose drop off location window pops up. Depending the locations it can increase the cost of the rental to drop off in a different location.

We often pick up a car at MCO and drop it off at the Dolphin or the Car Care center or visa versa.

Many agencies have no drop off charges when you rent in one FL location and return it in another location, particularly when both locations are at major FL airports. At one time that was a FL law.

In general, particularly in other states, you have to try different discount codes and coupons. Sometimes a code that waives the drop off charge winds up with a higher total charge than booking a discounted rate and paying a small charge. Just specify the pickup and drop off locations and the correct charges will be shown. Frequently, again not in FL, you won't get unlimited mileage.
