Question about magic bands at arrival

I am coordinating a trip for my family (10 of us in all) and we are renting DVC points from a friend and will be staying on-site for the first time at Bay Lake Towers. I am beyond excited about this trip. All of the magic bands were mailed to me and I currently have them. I live in NYC. The rest of my family is driving over from New Orleans. I was assuming that I could just bring everyone's magic bands with me and hand them out there, but now I am wondering if they will need them to enter the parking lot at BLT. We leave on 5/21 - so I do not want to chance mailing them and them not arriving. Will they have any issues getting into the parking lot at BLT? Should I fed ex the magic bands to them in N.O.?

Plenty of people don't receive their bands until they arrive for various reasons. I can't speak from experience, but I'm sure they won't have any problem getting in to the parking lot.

They won't have any issue getting into the parking lot. They will have to stop at the guard shack and give them the name that the reservation is under.

They should be able to look up your family's reservation at the gate at the parking lot. Families arriving from outside of the US do not get bands in the mail so they have some way of looking up our reservations when we arrive without them.
