Question about luggage tags...

Hi everyone,

I read about the new luggage tags that you now get that correspond with your Magicband color choice. I also read that it's for guests that booked a package. Now my question is, if I booked the on-site hotel and disney tickets separately days apart (both were booked through Disney's website) will I still get these luggage tags? Thanks!

DVC point reservations do not get luggage tags. You posted in the DVC section of the DIS, are you staying on DVC points?

I am not...I apologize for posting here!! I did not realize until after. I posted here because I saw another thread that was also asking about luggage tags.

No problem, I thought that maybe you were in the wrong place.

Come back and visit and maybe think about renting a room reservation from an owner.

Double check on the resorts board but as I understood it things are like they previously were where a package booked got luggage tags. These are just new ones that coordinate with the MB's. Room only reservations did not receive the previous ones and I don't believe will receive the new. And even if you purchased ticket directly if you did not specifically book a package from the start then you would not receive them.

I just received luggage tags but all the same color for my room only reservation. I did buy tickets separately andam a DVC owner.

These new luggage tags (http://www.disneyfashionista.com/new-wdw-luggage-tags-to-ship-with-magic-bands/) are for packages only. Not room + tickets-purchased-later. But full packages where you pay 45 days in advance, etc.
