I am a new member that will hopefully be in WDW's system as of next week.

We are in the planning stages of a trip with another couple. We want to go down for Sun-Tue in a 1-bed and then they will join us in a 2-bed from Wed-Wed.

Since most 2-beds are 1-bed + studio, is there any way to book or link the reservation so that we wouldn't have to move and the other couple would just move into the adjoining studio? Has anyone ever done this?

Thanks!!

There is no way to guarentee that you will stay the same but make sure that member services notes the link to the reservation. Also, bring it to the attention of the desk at the hotel. This is what we did in 2005 but in reverse. We are hoping to do the same in Oct. I think they would try to keep you in the same room so that they would not have to do extra cleaning.

We did this in Jan 06 for the marathon. We got there a few days ahead of our friends who were staying in the second bedroom. When we made the reservation we asked to stay in the same one bedroom portion. Then when we checked in, we again asked to make sure the reservations were linked and we were blocked into the same room.\

You will have to make sure that your one bedroom connects to a studio and is not dedicated. And for the two bedroom, it will have to be a lock off and not dedicated.
