Well, I finally have less than a month left and I have a bunch of lime green Mickeys from home depot - but now I cannot find the threads that tell me what the heck I am supposed to do with them!

How do I attach them to the resort door? I will be at WL - I assume you don't just use tape?
Any advice or tips will be appreciated!

Thanks:yay:

I peel mine off and stick them together with a glue stick then punch a hole and attach them to my baggalline, my door, my suitcase, anything. I write our names on them and use them that way.

I hope someone says hi to me this time. Only one person said hello last time we were there.

Oh well, Have fun! April

We were at WL in Sept and I stuck them to our door along with some Halloween decorations. Some of them "walked away" but that was OK - I had a load more and I'm pretty sure it was other DISers enjoying them!

Kind of OT - but my DH got the Focker sign last week - and I'm the one spending all the time on here! UGH! I was probablyt to obusy trying to make sure I didn't run over anyone with the stroller (or mor elike GET run over!).

I put mine back to back, laminated them, punched holes, and used lime green ribbon to attach them to all our bags and the stroller.

I purchased luggage tags from the dollar store it was laminate that you put a card in and then peel the sticky backing off and it seals I put my green mickey head with my user name and DIS on the tag and have it on my suit case and my small backpack I bring to the park. another Diser spotted me in epcot :thumbsup2

good suggestions! Thanks to all!

Can someone explain the focker sign to me....please!

I make tags etc out of mine for on our suitcases, backpacks. This next trip I am going to put one in our window, DH will have a heart attack I am sure... :rotfl: :rotfl:

DH used to disappear when he saw me heading for the LGMH in Home Depot, now he just stands there and waits......does that mean he actually might think they are cool????? :rotfl2:

We stay at the VWL and have a smallish dry erase board that we hang on the door with the removable sticky hook things (technical, I know). It has LGMH and our username & city on it. When we're not there we've come back to find messages from other DISers. A couple of times cell #s and we've met up with others. Before that we did a doorhanger (foam in the craft dept) with a post it pad, small sharpie and same info.

As far as wearing ours- we have acess to a button maker-I turned ours into 2.5" buttons for our pin lanyards, backpacks, etc. If we go packless I can still pin it to our shirts.

Good luck!

I dont have a button maker but WalMart used to sell the little make it yourself buttons and I do believe they are big enough to take a LGMH. Wow a great idea. I will have to go get one. I was sitting here last night wondering what in the world I was going to do with all of them. I did find the window cling printer paper finally. Disunc had a pic of where he had scanned a LGMH and then printed it on the cling paper to stick on his window at WDW . It was a great idea...now to get mine peeled so I can scan it and make it look good.

Let me know how the cling turns out. I'd be willing to trade some buttons for a couple of clings if it works. Can't seem to get them to come out right on my computer and got fed up trying!

I added various Disney stickers to my LGMH's. I then laminated them and hot glued a pin latch onto the back so I can wear them as a pins.

Buy some of the gummy stuff that you can use to stick posters to the wall (or glow in the dark stars) and use that to stick the LGMH's to your door. It comes off easily, and won't leave marks!

Am i the last to know? what are they and what do you do with them? we are going (without kids this time) in april
thanks

I wouldn't worry too much about it. We were just there.....at OKW...and I Never saw one LGMH anywhere. I had mine, but seems like no one else did. Also, I was one of about 5 adults who had on crocs! :rotfl:

He's probably thinking of the day, he said, for better or worse. :lmao:

Hopefully more Disser's now know about the LGMH so it will be easier to find others, even us Brits are getting them too! (from a very kind US Disser)

Too funny about the DH thinking LGMHs are cool. My DH just returned from getting me some!!!! Maybe HE thinks they're cool, too!!!!

They are paint samples found at Home Depot. They are "Alien Green" and in the shap of Mickey Mouse's head. You can soak them in water and they will peel off of their paper backings. You can then glue two together, punch a hole in them and attach them to your bags, fanny pack, etc. Other Disers will see them and recognize you as a Diser.

Don't know if this is allowed but I did not scan these I made them in Microsoft image composer then made a PDF in adobe. I didn't have a mickey head to go by so I looked up the paint sample which is made by behr Paint and tried to match the color from the online sample. I can change it if the color is not right or make bigger or smaller ones, pretty easy since it's only 3 circles. If this is not allowed I will remove the post just let me know

Here is the link to the PDF there are 3 different sizes Large, medium and small. Figured this would help those over seas or those who don't have a home depot near by.

oh you need adobe reader which you can download for free to view a pdf file. most PCs have it preloaded but you can do a google search for "free adobe reader"
