Question about last minute ADRs?

So it originally didn't look like we would be revisiting the mouse until 2007 but now it looks like there is a chance we could go in January. I would not for certain though until right around christmas. Does any1 know how easy it would be to get ADRs that close? Since january is the "slow time" should we even fool with ADRs? This would be for a party of 3 and we are not really counter service type of people. TIA for the help and advice.

I have not been in January, but I can tell you that for our trip (in 18 days!) we have switched our ADRs numerous times, even as recently as last week, and we have had no problems. DSis and BIL are going next week, and on short notice were able to book Jiko, Artist Point, Le Cellier and California Grill. Supposedly, they are there at a busy time, so based on my experience, you should be fine. Of course, it never hurts to call as soon as you know you're going! Better to have the reservation than to be turned away, IMO.
