Question About Laptops...

Do I need to let the battery run completely down (so it doesn't develop a memory) & if so how many times do I need to do this to be safe?

hmmm...I don't know the 'correct' answer to that, Jeff.
I can only tell you that I never do. My laptop's almost 2 years old...no problems so far.

No, I don't believe laptop batteries have this issue (as in cell phone batteries).

If nickel cadium or nickel metal hydride, you should let run down maybe evey 10 charges or so, or every 3 months (some chargers will have 'conditioning' mode). If lithium ion, no need to.

It's a Lithium Ion. They don't develop memories?
