Question about Jan 1.

We will not check in the fort until Jan 1st. Will most of the Christmas decorations still be there, or will a lot of people have left? I really want to see them.

While I'm not exactly sure when the decorations come dowm, I am sure it will be real close to that time.

As for, "will a lot of people have left? I really want to see them." ,,
this will be the day after the worlds largest gathering of people drinking the night before Jan 1,,,why you would want to see them is beyond me ,,it couldnt possibly be a pretty sight.

You should be good to around the 5/6/7th of Jan. But when they come down ... poof it's an overnight thing.

yep there will be alot of decorations on the 1st. the 1st is on a fri so most won't take them down until at least the 2nd or 3rd.

Also, most of the really big Fort displays are long-termers, so will probably stay at the Fort through mid-Feb (the end of Value Season) and will probably start working on taking down their Christmas displays shortly after the 1st of Jan, so you should be good there also.
