Question about International drive

We have the chance to stay at Hilton International drive or Hilton Seaworld time shares. Is International drive the driving nightmare I keep reading about? Also, is Seaworld really far from Disney? I can also choose the Cypress Grand Villas but the Hilton looked nicer.

Any advice and feedback would be great. I am looking for the least amount of driving time as we will go back to the timeshare mid day to give my boys (5 and 4) a break.

The part of International Drive that these timeshare resort are located at isn't the crazy busy end of I-Drive. Both of these resorts are south of the convention center and SR 528. I'd estimate that these resorts are 8 to 10 miles from the Magic Kingdom parking lot. Sea World is also about ten miles from the MK parking lot.

Since you're talking about timeshares, I assume that the other option is phase II of Cypress Pointe, also known as Cypress Pointe Grand Villas. That resort is probably about two miles closer to everything in WDW and is very close to Downtown Disney.

All three of these resorts are very nice (we've stayed at Cypress Pointe and HGVC Seaworld and toured HGVC International Drive). Cypress Pointe is smaller than the two Hilton Grand Vacation Club resorts. I'd probably have a very slight preference for either of the Hiltons, but if proximity to Disney is a main criteria then Cypress Pointe would be the choice for us.

I-Drive can be a nightmare at certain times,it's probably the worst from Sand Lake rd and Wet n Wild,I usually stay in I-Drive and I don't even get on I-4 to get to Disney and it takes me 10-15 minutes.I just take I-Drive south past Sea World to 536 turn right and that takes you to one of Disney's entrances.
