That would be great, but mapquest says it's about 1 hour and 45 mins. from port and then 2 hours and 45 minutes from there to MCO. Our flight isn't until 5:45 PM, but that's too much driving.

For the cost to re-enter DD, we will opt for the Hyatt $60 day rate. I'm sure that by that time, we will be ready for some quiet wind-down time before our flight. I just called and go a ressie. Did not have a problem at all. Thanks for all the good feedback ya'll

The only things you have to pay to reenter at DD are Disney Quest and Pleasure Island.

I've tried Downtown Disney and saw a movie but I was really depressed after leaving the ship....so last year we spent the afternoon at the Boardwalk. First we played mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens, then we ate at Flying Fish Cafe. Finally, we rented bikes and shopped. This was a really good way to wait for our flight home.

Too bad WDW Resorts don't rent "day rooms"

Trishy - how much would that first little house set you back? I know, if I've have to ask I can't afford it!

Oh, it's only a measly million or so, but if you want to save few bucks the Devonshire mini mansion is only $800,000. Maybe I can sell a few things around the house; you know, old toys, clothes, the kids, my body...

Spending the day at Boardwalk is an excellent idea.
