question about how to use points

Hi all, I am new at this so bear with me. I see that a lot of people have 100 pts from one resort and 100 pts from another. Can you use all your 200 points at one resort? For example, if I own BLT and BCV and I want to use 200 pts at BCV to get a 1br villa during busy season, can I do that at 11 mths or do I have to wait until 7 mths?

You may book reservations using the combined points at the 7 month window. Alternatively, you can bank the points to use every-other-year at the 11 month window for each home resort. Using your example above, bank 100 BLT points to use 200 BLT points every other year and alternate your trips between BLT and BCV.

Putting it another way, points always retain their home resort. So, your BLT could only be used at BLT at 11 months, and could be used at other resorts at 7 months out.

This is exactly what we do. I could not decide between BWV and BLT so we bought both. Fairly straightforward to manage this way.
