I'm renting points for a studio this August and we will be staying for 7 nights and 8 days. Last summer when we rented points for a stay from Sunday to Friday, we had towels and trash service on
Wednesday. Although we hung up our towels, which we normally do at home, I have to say that by Tuesday, with the same towels, it was getting old. The trash wasn't too bad. Anyway, how much would it cost to have daily maid service and towels? Could a renter pay for extra towels, like the pay as you play plan? Please don't say, just stay at a regular deluxe. That won't help. Thank you in advance for any advice that you have to offer.

To expand on HorizonsFan's post, each extra set of towels (4 bath, 4 hand, 4 washclothes and 1 bath mat) is $6. If you would like to wash towels, there is no charge (except for detergent and softening agents) to use the washers/dryers at the DVC resorts.

Trash & Towel service is $10 / day requested. For studio T & T service, housekeeping will:

*Empty the trash and out new liners in the trash bins
*Provide fresh bathroom linens
*Replace facial tissues, paper towels and toilet paper
*Replenish coffee, sugar, cream, and sweeteners
*Replenish dishwashing liquid and sponges as needed

A full cleaning for a studio is $25 / day requested. For a full cleaning service in the studio, housekeeping:

* Provides all T & T services
* Changes the bed linens
* Vacuums and dusts
* Cleans the bathroom
* Cleans the kitchenette and washes the dishes.

You may order either service for as many or as few days as you like.

Old Key West had the laundry right by the quiet pools so I just ran towels through while we swam. We also used pool towels at the pool so our regular towels were not too yukky. I am laundry-obsessed anyway and was always washing something!
