question about handicapped rooms

Hi all,

We were wondering if the handicapped rooms , espeacially one and two bedroom villas, still have the whirlpool tub? We have little kids, so we need a tub (they are scared of the shower), but if they all have that, we won't worry about requesting that. Also, my Dad needs a handicapped room, so if we take my parents, I wanted to know how unhappy my kids would have to be about getting clean!

Yes - All the 1 & 2 bedroom units have the whirlpool tub (in the Master bath), even the HA ones.

However, the studio's do not. I have a 3 yr old dd who is also scared of the shower. I always let MS know that when I am making a ressie for a studio.

The other thing to keep in mind with the HA rooms is that the stove knobs and light switches are lower (I am not sure about the sliding door to the patio), and the trash cans are out in the open.

Just a few more things to "keep in mind" when baby-proofing.

Yes, bed heights are lower. I didn't post that because I didn't consider it a "babyproofing" issue.

Answering for OKW. All of the 2 BR HC villas that I have stayed in have roll in showers in both BR's. The master also has the Whirlpool tub. Bldgs # under 30 do not have the lower counters, wall switches etc. Those over 30 do. Also the studio portion of the 2 BR has very high beds. Patio doors are not sliding doors, but regular doors that swing open.

How many beds in an OKW HA studio room? If there's only 1 bed, does it also have a sofa bed?

Thank you. I want this information before I mention to MS that I need a first floor studio for mom, who can't climb steps.
