A colleague of mine is going to Disney next week with his grandchildren/children. It's his first Disney trip. I think I'm more excited for him than he is.

Anyways - He's on the dining plan. How does he handle tips? I've never used the dining plan (and never will).
 
He could either charge the tips on his room key or pay cash.Just tell him to look at the total bill and tip on that amount (some don't tip on the tax).Anywhere from 15% to 20% is standard......more to the 18%.We wish him a magical time.:woohoo:
 
So even though he's on the dining plan, he'll still get a receipt telling him what the total WOULD have been?

Yes and he will also get a slip with "suggested" tipping amounts on it (just in case he doesn't want to do the math).
