question about getting AP activated

We are getting our AP vouchers before we leave for WDW. The first day we are there would we be able to activated them at the International Gateway to Epcot? Do we have to go to the Front of the park?

There is a Guest Relations booth to the right before you are enter from the International Gateway. They can activate your APs right there. Just remember to take your DL with you!

You can get them activated at any Ticketing/Guest Relations location. Like eeyore said, just make sure you have your driver's licence, it takes less than a minute to do.

Mrs. JHenry I just posted an almost identical question! I just called the Yacht Club directly and the CM told me that there is a guest services office in the hotel that can take care of activation for me. She said that if they were unable we could go to the back gate one and they can do it. Whew! saves me a trip to DTD on arrival day! SHe said that I can also purchase my DD9's AP there too. So good to know ahead of time!

Guest Services at the resorts cannot activate AP's. Just go to the International Gateway entrance and they will do it for you.

Thanks eeyore! I knew someone here would probably be able to answer that. I originally thought we'd have to go to DTD but the gateway is a lot better. I knew that we PROBABLY couldn't activate at the hotel but that was what the CM said

We also have to activate an AP and thought that we would ride the monorail to Epcot after dinner at Chef Mickeys and activate the pass there. Not going to do Epcot that evening as we wont be going to the parks till the next day, but just want to get the pass activated the eve before to save time. Anyway, how late do you think the Epcot window would be open. Im guessing till about an hour before the park closes? Our PS ressie is for 5:30 PM, so hoping we would have enough time to get to Guest Services window at Epcot after dinner, do you think this would work?

It should, someone mentioned that there is also one at the ticket & transportation center where you would have to board the EPCOT monorail
