Question about Gay Day Tickets

I was thinking about ordering 2 day park hopper tickets from the Gay Day site. What I would like to know though is can anyone order these? I know convention tickets you have to show proof of being at a convention, but this is really not a convention, just a week they go to Disney World. So do you have to show some type of proof? It says on the site these tickets must be used by December 31st, which is no problem. Also, are the tickets regular Disney tickets or do they say Gay Day on them? Thanks for any type of help.

If the website doesn't state anything about a 'membership' to a group, then I would guess they would be available to anyone. How would they check on this? But I really don't know.

Wouldn't it be nice if they just sold 2 day hoppers! I would love that (not the UPH passes, just regular discounted 2 day hoppers).

Anyone can use these, I very much doubt they say anything about gay days on them, and you have the quiz answers above.

I can't remember how much they are, but I remember looking at them and thinking they were not a great deal...

Wow! You're right! I thought they'd be the same price as other WDW convention tickets, but they are much higher! I wonder what is up with that?

Year2late- (laughing) that is very funny.

I hope everyone here does know that I meant proof of not going to the convention, not of being gay.

I will leave the wearing a red shirt to my uncle and "significant other", who just so happen to be gay and are going with us.

My comment was not aimed at anyone here, it was a general comment made because y2l and I have seen some of the nasty comments made about this event. Very sorry if I unintentionally offended anyone.

I didn't take it wrong. But, I figured when I posted this it would bring up a lot of reaction. I really am wanting 2 day park hopper tickets bad and I don't want to be stuck holding tickets on a day I am not going or a convention. Anyway, no harm done here.

I realize that the budget may not allow for it with everyone, but it seems that the 4 day hoppers or even PHP tickets are just a bit more if you do a little scouting around. If you are not planning on coming back any time soon, I understand this would not be an option. However, if you think you might, would it be an option to "bank" the extra day on the hopper pass for a later trip, as these passes seem to only go up in price? I agree with everyone. There are some cases in which a 3 day pass is the only or best option and I think it would be a great thing if Disney would offer it for sale to the general public.

Wow this is my exact question. I will be visiting disney for the first time this coming June and would love to take advantage of this offer as I was thinking on a 4 day visit to all of the parks... Has anyone purchased these yet. I would hate for something to go wrong on our first trip to disney.......
