We will be traveling to WDW over Labor Day, as will our friends.

My daughter is 6. Her friend (6) is also traveling and staying at Port Orleans Riverside. I am trying to help them plan their weekend.

There are doing the Frozen Premium Package on Saturday.

How is this agenda or are they biting off too much.

Arrive in AM - EMH

Check into Frozen package.

Wait for 10:30am parade in special area.

Hopefully hit Toy Story with FP - maybe before parade?

Frozen Sing-a-long with FP that comes with package

Use two other fast passes - they also have a 2 year old boy in tow.

Disney Junior Show? Star Tours?

Break mid afternoon and head back to Port Orleans - Riverside.

QUESTION - they could not get the mermaid makeover or BBB in MK - would this be a good time for mom and daughter to take the ferry to DTD and get a makeover??? If so, what time????

Son and dad could rest

Everyone eats QS at Port Orleans

5:30pm - Carriage ride around Port Orleans

Then head back to HS

7:45pm - dessert party

9-ish Frozen Fireworks

Share with me your thoughts! They know that they cannot do everything!

I am thinking that sounds like too much back and forth running around with little ones.
Are they set on the makeover? If not skip that or do another day. A makeover seems like something that should be done early in the day so you can walk around the parks looking like a Princess!
I think the down time is important especially when it so hot and you are heading back and forth to the parks. Also as many have said eat a late-ish lunch before you do a dessert party as you will not be able to eat the sweets. I have never done this or any dessert party so I cannot speak to the event itself, however it does seem sort of annoying to have parts of it spread out across the day.

I always over plan and then adjust as the day sees fit. I wouldn't tell the children all of my plans because if we did not follow through they would not be expecting something or disappointed that we didn't do something.

Also bare in mind transportation times. It takes about 30 mins from Riverside over to HS and you may have a wait for the bus. The boat to DTD is long too so time wise you probably wont be able to fit all that in. I would be inclined to just go back to the resort for an hour or so and then back or if you do want to do DTD its probably worth getting the boat from HS to Swan & Dolphin and then a bus to DTD from there as I think this will save time and make it easier for you. Also a lot will be dictated by the FP's as remember you get one and its scheduled for an hour so each one will be at least an hour between them i.e. even if you got TSM at say 11 then you can't get the next til 12 and the next til 1 even prebooking them. This means that you are likely to not be done on rides til 1:30ish anyway so you would probably not be back to the resort until around 2:30pm maybe depending on the buses. A 5:30pm carriage ride would mean from this you need to go straight back out probably to get to the dessert party in case of transport delays. This means you probably have 3 hours in the resort. If you are then adding in a 45 min boat journey each way I doubt you would fit the make over in. If you are doing the option of going from Swan & Dolphin you probably might be able to fit in an hour or so in DTD so might be able to get in a makeover around 2:30/3ish and then get the boat back to the resort for the carriage ride but its definitely going to be a very rushed day. What about just getting the girls faces painted up? They do this in the park around TSM and do like butterflys with sparkles and nice girlie things? Its a nice option if they want a bit of dressing up! I don't know all the designs they do and obviously if you are planning on going back to the pool mid day probably a good idea to do this after that (maybe see if you could get an earlier carriage ride to give you a bit extra time?)

IF your're flexible in the sense you may have to miss a couple of things. To you make most of your plan work, so know in advance what you would be able to skip and not ruin your experience.
