we have twins who will be under 2 when we travel. they eat table food and not necessarily the same things as us. if we do the meal plan (deluxe with the 2 snacks, 3 meals,) could we mix and match during the same purchase?

for example - we plan on doing a character breakfast each morning (hopefully) and that would count as one dining credit for my DH and myself and the kids eat free, right?

then for lunch we planned on doing counter service - that's 2 points used. one for my DH and myself and then we planned on going out to dinner each night as a regular table service.

how did it work out for those of you will small children? did you just buy their food?

They'll eat for free at buffets, family-style, dinner shows, etc.

The rest of the time, you're on the hook for proving food for them. You can share off of your own plates (a good idea might be to use one of your appetizers for the kids), order them something else out-of-pocket, or just bring along the food they'll need.

Snack credits are another good way to keep the little 'uns fed, and you'll have plenty of them.

At the CS places you can usually find some side items that you can use a snack credit to pay for. You should have quite a few snack credits. I would use them for the boys. You can find things like fruit, fries, yogurt, chili, etc on the side menus.

If you have to pay for a kid's meal they aren't that expensive about $5.

That's quite a nice option too, if you need it. I doubt you will need to buy extra food, but it does open up your options. The kids meals come with a small juice, water or milk and 2 sides. The sides are usually grapes and carrot sticks (although you could double up and get 2 of the same if you wanted to). They are pre-packaged and sealed so they are great to pop into your park bag in case you need something when standing in line or just if the little ones want something to nibble on.
