Here's the skinny:
I'm working on some photoshop (5.5) files & want to avoid using system fonts (OS 8.6).

I, being the numbskull that I am, haven't color labeled or labeled in any way which fonts are original fonts & which I've put on myself.

Is there a quick site or list I can see which are the Mac system fonts? I've also got fonts from a PC (via True Type Converter 1.5) & want to avoid the PC system fonts as well. The only thing I can think of is reinstalling the OS which would be a major pain in the gluty max.

Thanks a mint & a half.

The only thing I know about fonts is I have tons of 'em!

Chris C may know more about Mac fonts than we do. You can always try asking him directly.

Well that didn't have the info I was looking for, but I've found some fonts that I can use.

Thank you for the link, which has info that I'm sure I'll use in the future.

Jeff, you can just open (shouldn't have to boot up from it, but if you do, just pop the CD in, restart and hold down the C key which will boot you from the disk) from your software restore CD and then you can just make a copy of the original OS Font folder onto the desktop from there.

You definately won't have to re-install your whole OS to get it.

Any probs, just hollar :)

Penny :)
