Question about FL Residency

As DVC members we are technically FL "property owners." Can we use this to our advantage when purchasing APs, booking cruises at residents special rates, etc.? I know somebody out there in DISland can give me the low-down... I'm so new to the DVC thing (bought in last year) so please forgive my ignorance.

No, the DVC contract specifically says membership does not qualify for FL Residency.

The DVC AP rate is very close to the FL Resident AP rate (but not eligible for Seasonal FL Resident).

Thanks for clearing this up. Now I don't feel so bad for what I paid for my upcoming trip tickets... Guess I should learn to read the fine print...

Locate your copy of the Public Offering Statement (POS - usually a small booklet of about 50-70 pages) and get real familiar with it.
