Hi Folks,

I used "A Wedding for You" to get my license. It was a little expensive but well worth it for me since I have so many things to do when we arrive next month. My prince and I signed the paperwork along with the notary then FedEx it back to them. They inturn took it to the court house, got it signed and mailed it back to me today. After looking it over, I noticed it said filed 2/24/05 expiration 4/24/05. Our wedding takes place 4/05/05 but I was wondering why the expiration date is 4/25/05. What should I do for here?

Thanks in advance.

Lori

Wedding liscenses issued by the state of Florida are only valid for 60 days, which is why there is an expiration date on it.

I'm not sure what you meant by "What should I do for here?" Your liscense is issued and valid for the day your wedding is scheduled, so you will have no problems. :)

Some time after the wedding (I forget how long it took) you will receive your marriage certificate in the mail for your records.
