I am about to begin making those 120 day PSs and I was wondering if the ESPN restaurant on the Boardwalk is considered a resort restaurant? I've never been there and I only know that it is located on the Boardwalk. Thanks!

The ESPN Club is not considered a resort restaurant and does not take any p.s. It can get crowded when there are major sporting events going on so go for lunch or a fairly early dinner as it can get harder to get a table as the night goes on. It is a fun place especially for sports enthusiasts.

Thanks for the information! I did not know which restaurants were on the Boardwalk and have heard the ESPN one would be fun for the 3 teens I am going to have with me on this trip! We are staying at the YC so we can make sure to go early for dinner that evening.

Without a doubt. If you sit at the tables around the bar, you can get a video game hook-up that plugs into the wall at your table. As you wait for your meal the kids will twist their necks turning from the video games to the sports on tv. Then after dinner you can head to the arcade next door with all kinds of sports related games.

The night we ate there they were doing a live interview with some football guy from Tampa Bay then they were broadcasting live during hockey periods so it was neat to look into the broadcast booth. Also going on was trivia contests for small prizes. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere, I'm sure teens would too.

If you have been to an ESPN Zone else where (like the one in Chicago) you will find this one to be much smaller but still a good time.

My kids favorite part of the ESPN Club was the tvs in the bathrooms.

If you are staying at the Boardwalk Resort, it's a great place to go at night, after the parks. Watch a game, have some nachos and a beer. We never had a problem getting a table.

Just something to be aware of before you go there -- smoking is allowed in the bar area (about 35% of the restaurant).

Well thanks everyone! It certainly sounds like it will be a hit with the teens and I will take all the advice into consideration!
