Question about entering at the gate

Does anyone know if Disneyland has the same method of using the barometric readers when you enter the park (like in WDW)?

Please don't flame me - I was thinking about purchasing a 3 day ticket from AAA and selling the last day to someone who would be there (within 14 days of my trip) since I will only be using 2 days.

Thoughts?
