Do you think this ride will be too intense for my 6 yr old?

my 9 yr old wouldnt go on it only because i showed her the on board movie ride www.rollercoasterpro.com/onride_videos/ maybe you should watch it alone first..... i rode it 3 weeks ago and i loved it!!! i think my dd 9 would have went on it if she didnt see the video.... vicki

My 6yo went on it after some convincing and looked like a corpse after getting off, but expressed interest in doing it again.

Not necessarily. What does your 6yo think of Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain? If s/he can handle those, s/he can handle Everest. It's very smooth, not bumpy like Space Mountain, but it does have darkness and blind drops. (No really bad drops though.)
