Question About Early PS

We have a PS for Donald's Breakfastosauraus at AK for 8:10am but the park doesn't open until 9am. We'll be able to get in, right? Also, would you take the bus from the hotel (we're at WL) or drive? We will have a mini van and I just think that since our PS is so early, that we'll be better off driving to AK as opposed to bussing there. What do you think?? Thank you!!!

Hi! We've done Donald's a few times with that PS time. I would drive. Get there by 7:30. The breakfast line was on the left last time we were there. Just lien up under the sign. You ill sign in adn they will start to call families. A CM wil lead a you back in small groups. It's very easy, but I think you would be better taking your van. You will just breahte easier. It's lots of fun to be done before the park opens.

We went to the 8:10 seating at Donalds's in late June. Since it was not an EE morning for the Animal Kingdom the buses were NOT running that early. The front desk advised that we take a taxi right outside the hotel, which we did.
I HOPE they corrected the mess they created in late June by not allowing anyone through the gates until 7:45am.
Our taxi driver told us that he had this problem the day before when he took people over to the Animal Kingdom. New rules would not allow anyone in until 7:45am. Sure enough, as we approached the gate there were two lines of cars and taxis building because they would not let anyone through yet.
Luckily for us a CM finally let the taxis through to drop off guests.
I have complained to WDW management that they must correct this situation. Obviously everyone there was going to Donald's so it makes no sense to make them stay outside the main gate. I imagine some people were probably late because of this.
Hope it works out for you. I hate to say this, but this is the only character meal I would NOT recommend. The lines for the hot food were insane when we were there. We also found the tables way too small with all the stuff they had on them.
This is one meal we will definitely not do again.
