Question about early park hours

Planning a February 2019 trip, first time back in over 15 years and will be staying on property for the first time, hopefully Royal Pacific. Newbie question, is only one of the parks (not interested in VB right now) open early each day, or do both Parks have early hours for on property guests?

I think its too early for 2019 Park hours to be posted, so wasn't sure.

Most of the year, it is just one of the parks. During certain, super busy times, both parks may have early entry.

This year it was just IOA with EE in Feb.

Thank you - I thought it worked more like Disney, didn't realize that it was generally only one of the parks with EE. Definitely good to know.

I was disappointed that it didn’t toggle daily but it wound up being nice because we felt no guilt sleeping in and skipping early entry some days.

Same here! We usually do one early entry at one park, do rope drop at the other park one morning (particularly if EE is at IOA and we still haven't done Minions) and then sleep in most other mornings.

Usually only one park at a time. This month is US.

However, normally, in the summer they open both parks early. Not sure why they aren’t doing that this year with more hotels open than ever before. Someone posted in another thread that they asked and were told the reason they weren’t doing that this year was because of construction at IOA which was preventing it from opening early. I have no idea what they are referring to or if that rumor is true, but that’s the story.
