Question about down payment?

If you put the down payment on your Disney Visa Credit Card how soon do they actually charge it on your credit card?

Ours posted on or very close to the day we called and gave our credit card information to our guide.

Agreed. I believe they process it while your still on the phone.

Mine posted online within a day. Very fast, considering it usually takes 3 days for me to see transactions online.

Thanks I was curious cause we sent the check to the Visa Co. yesturday and are ready to call our guide and buy in, but we dont know if the check has cleared so I was wondering cause I wouldnt want to call try to buy in and be declined cause Disney is so quick to check your credit card. Thanks everybody you've calmed a nervous soul.

We did the tour back in early May, and called before we left Disney to secure our incentives by putting our DP on our Disney Visa. We later found out that our guide was out of town, and the assistant only added the # to our record, and when he returned, that is when the payment was charged. This is probably a rarity, but if it isn't posted soon, I owuld call your guide to verify they are actually in the office.

Credit card payments for DVC down payments are processed immediately - they have to be, considering what is involved.
