Question about Disneyland's Wishes... I live in Florida and therefore usually see only the WDW-MK version of wishes with J. Cricket as host.... recently saw a video of Wishes from Disneyland that had Julie Andrews narrating and it had a long sequence with a "tour of Disneyland" as part of the fire works (short sequences of Main street electrical parade, The Enchanted Tiki Room, etc) ... is this still currently in the show? Or better yet WILL this be in the show in late summer or fall of this year?

They have plans to change the show. Right now the one you are speaking of is Remember Dreams Come True. It is an AMAZING show!! But it causes too many issues in the park...over crowding on mainstreet, closes most of FL for an hour before the show etc. They have alread shortened the show and will have a new show soon.

At Disneyland, the name of the fireworks show they have been presenting since the 50th, is Remember Dreams Come True. From what I have read, they are currently sizing down this show (it is super EXPENSIVE) and will have something smaller running over the summer. Not exactly sure what it will look like, but keep reading here, and I'm sure you'll hear all about it in June.

awww that would be sad if it is done before I am able to attend!

My number one attraction to see is Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room...I wish theyd bring this version to WDW since it is mostly the original show cut down a bit. I have fond memories of the show when I was a kid (been to WDW 38 times starting in 1971 lol). Have only been to Disneyland once in 1979...wow 30 years ago!

What about the Main Street Electrical Parade? Is that still running there somewhere? Would LOVE to see that again

The Electrical Parade should be shown in DCA every night from Friday, June 12, until approximately the third week of August. The Electrical Parade usually goes dark after Labor Day (until mid-December).

HTH :earsboy:

Best extra DL only thing about the Tiki Room - the Dole Whip line inside the waiting area for the show. You get your Dole Whip and take it into the attraction with you! Tiki Room and Dole Whips and the cool 60's Hawaii video playing on the side of the Dole Whip shack!

What about the Main Street Electrical Parade?

Your question was answered above. Just chiming in to add that ever since it was brought (back?) at DCA it's called, "Disney's Electrical Parade" since it is not on Main Street anymore. :wizard:

LOVE the ELP!
