Question about Disneyland Hotel pool

We are planning to stay at the Disneyland Hotel 2 nights late January for a very quick trip. I have 2 questions about the pool(s) which could sway my decision.

- What time does the pools close this time of year?
- Do they close the pools or waterslides down if it is raining?

Not sure about the closing time of the pool area that time of the year.
We stayed there a few times and are sad that the slides close down at 5pm every day.

I'd call the hotel and ask them the schedule of the pool area as well as times for slides and hot tubs.

Having the slides close at 5 isn't great, it's one of the reasons I book the DLH.

I read that the GCH pools will close in January so those guests will be able to hop over to DLR or PP to use those pools.
