Question about Disney Dollars

I'm not really sure where to put this, so if it needs to be moved, someone please do that for me!! Anyway, does anyone know if I can buy Disney Dollars at the Disney store? My mother wanted to get some for my children for Christmas since we are going in January, but she does not have one near her anymore, so can I go to the one I have near me and get them? Thanks for any help! MB

Yes, the local disney stores carries them. I would call first just to make sure they have them in stock.

The Disney store has them, they are behind the counter just ask. Also you can get 50 and 100 dollar denomations from Disney through the website.

I work at my local Disney Store and we have been out of Disney Dollars for awhile. Please try calling before you go to make sure they have them.

Many Disney Stores have allowed themselves to run out of Disney Dollars, but they all officially carry them.

Just an FYI, the Disney Stores do not "allow" themselves to run out of Disney Dollars. They are ordered on a regular basis - however, we don't always get the orders. I have a feeling we will be going to a gift card that can be used at the stores as well as the theme parks so they are not sending the orders out. Just my humble opinion.....

PrincessCM, I know I was a little bumbed. I went to the store yesterday and no Disneey Dollars. I was told that the Newington store had them, but who has time to drive down there this time of year. Especially in this weather. I was also told that the Newington store would be closing soon, not happy to see anything Disney close.

My in-laws sent us Disney Dollars last week as our Christmas present to use on our upcoming trip. My MIL bought them at a Disney Store but was limited to $200.00 per person - she was surprised there was a limit, so she and my FIL had to make separate purchases, and the store only had $10.00 increments. I have been purchasing them for my kids since we started planning our trip, when we go to the mall and my DD wants a treat, we go to the Disney Store and get Dollars instead.

Our store has only been getting $1 bills as of late. We hardly ever get any of the $5 or $10 bills.....

THANK YOU ALL for the responses. I love in Norther VA and I did call the local store and she said they do have them in 1's 5's 10's and 20's so I will be headed out tomorrow to pick some up! Thanks again MB
