Question about "discounts" on existing reservation

Hi All,

We received pin codes from Disney this week and when trying to apply them to our already existing trip we were told over that we already had a discount on our rooms.

However when we log into our accounts, we can only see the original price we locked in at when we booked our trip which had no discounts on it at the time (we're on a package with the dining plan and tickets + resort).

Has anyone ever had a similar issue? Was the rep wrong last night? Should I call again and try and use my codes?

Try and make a new reservation entirely online applying the vide and see if the price is different -- if it is call again.
 
You could definitely call again & check. Did you get an email with your PIN? The ones we get via email have a link, so you could try checking the price with the PIN thru the link. To see if the reservation you currently have is discounted , go to the WDW website & try pricing out your package at full price (don't use the special offers page). You can add tickets & dining when pricing things out. Make sure the room type you put in is the same as you have now so you can be sure you are comparing the same package.
 
Yes, I called to use my PIN on my inlaws room and was told her reservation showed that she had the same 35% off bounceback that we had. She did not book while we were still at Disney so no clue how she ended up with it.
 

"Disney Math" is the devil and I will never understand how I managed to get a price cheaper than the 20% off they are currently offering....

If you booked during a discount period you may not have known you were getting a discount.
 
Question: if a specific room type is all sold out, will disney not offer a late fall Room only discount for that room type? Or will they still offer a few, but you have to call to get it?
 
I got the Disney Visa discount then about two weeks later got a pin code through email. Called and got the additional discount. No problems. Wonder why yours wouldn't work? Maybe try again with different person? Sorry you're didn't work.

If they offer anything you'd need to call to have it applied to an existing reservation. It's possible you could modify online, but it doesn't sound like that's working at all.

The Disney visa discount is exclusive to Disney Visa card holders.

What discount is offered for disney visa cardholders? I thought there weren't any offered for disney visa cardholders for this fall yet.

They usually just get early dibs on public offers. FD and the fall room discount didn't have a DV offer. I think the summer did though.
 
When Moonie #5 did the math for us, it looks like we somehow picked up a bouncback offer. I'm no longer going to question it.
