question about dinner shows

We are planning a trip in October for my DD's birthday. We have done hoop-de-do review and are thinking about doing the Backyard BBQ or the Spirit of Aloha dinner shows for her actual birthday. Both are open air. Has anyone had this rained out and what happens to your reservations/ money spent. I cannot imagine that they dont refund but I cannot find out on the Disney website.

1) Luau gets canceled frequently

. . . temperatures below 40º-45º
. . . cancellation can occur up to 1/2-hour prior to show time
2) You get a refund based upon how you paid
. . . DDP credit are returned
. . . cash is returned in cash
. . . credit card purchase get credited
3) Ressies
. . . they DO NOT make other dining ressies
. . . if canceled, you are on your own to get ADR's elsewhere
