Question about dining

I have a silly question that I know someone here will be able to help me with. We are staying for 8 nights 9 days. We are arriving early in the morning on the first day and leaving late on our last day. We have the dining plan. My question: Do you only get for the 8 nights can you add extra days to dining or is it only the amount of days you have your room for. We have to eat the first and last day so I thought it would be better to add just on more day of dining. Thanks !!

With eight nights, you'll receive 8 table service meals, 8 counter service meals, and 8 snacks. My understanding from Disney literature is that you can't add days - but, of course, all restaurants will be happy to take whatever's in your wallet or let you max out your credit cards.

Your 8 Table service meals, 8 counter service meals and 8 snacks are available for your use on the day you check in until midnight the day you check out. Last May we had some counter service meals leftover to use on our last day.
I agree with the last poster -- you cannot add extra days of dining to your package.
