My son will only eat chicken fingers/nuggets. do you think if we went to Jiko they could/would pop over to Boma and get him some nuggets?

Thanks!

I wouldn't ask the server to do it..but you could visit mara before your Jiko reservation, get the children meals and take them with you into jiko. The servers at Jiko are very busy, so not really fair to ask them to run all over the place.

Or..why not get the kids to try something new, in fact...the new kids menus when we had our granddaughter there a few weeks ago didn't even have nuggets in the nicer restaurants..it was salad, chicken breast, real food, good things for kids, not the cr*p food.

Have you looked at the Jiko kids menu? While they don't have chicken nuggets, they do have pizza & pb&j. I certainly would not expect them to run over to another restaurant to get different food. Disney does a lot to please their guests, but IMO that's asking to much.

If your son won't eat what's on the kids menu, he might be happier at the kids club for the evening or a different restaurant would be the best option.

Perhaps it would be more appropriate if you all went to Boma for dinner? Boma is very good, and better for children than a formal meal at Jiko.

My kids went to the kids club - at AKL and loved their special place while my DH and I enjoyed our dinner date at Jiko. We thought it was a very nice option. We have since dined at Jiko with the kids. They enjoyed their "Appetizers" and we did not feel that dinner took "too" long, but I know every night is different. If your kids are younger and really want just kid food, look into the kids clubs. They offer babysitting, dinner and my girls loved them.

We ate there just this past Wednesday with our 5yr old daughter. She had a salad to start (it was adult sized) and I had some as well. She then had the Mac n Cheese and it is the same they serve with the filet for the adults. I had told her how good it was, and she loved it.
