Hello, sorry if this has been asked before, I read over some other threads about the Deluxe dining plan and I still don't fully understand how it works....:confused3

Can I do this on the Deluxe dining plan....?????
I have a reservation for Hollywood Brown Derby for Lunch and Jiko for dinner on the same day.....how many credits can I use each day?????.....

Are you limited on the number of credits you use each day for counter, table, or signature dining on the Deluxe dining plan???

TIA.......:flower3: :wave2:

You can definitely do that. It doesn't matter how you use your credits.

That seems like a lot of food on one day though. Try to space the reservations as far apart as you can.

HI!!!
OK....I have another question. We are doing the 4/3 deal 7 nights.....so how many total credits would that give us on the Deluxe dining plan?

another one.....
How many total credits would that give us on the regular dining plan?

From what I understand, the difference between the DP and the DXDP is that
.... with the DXDP you can use your credits for table or counter service?

We will be doing Jiko at least twice and Hollywood Brown Derby. I don't know which plan would be a better value, or just to pay OOP.....the Deluxe dining plan seems like almost too much food, but on the other hand if you eat at many signature places it sounds like it would be a pretty good value:confused.....any opinions/input appreciated TIA:flower3:

you get 3 a night for each person in you group so if it is 2 adults you will get 42 on the other plan you will get 1 ts and 1 cs for each night so you will get 14 ts and 14 cs

You will have 21 Meal credits (per person), 14 snack credits and will get one refillable mug.

You will get 7 TS credits, 7 CS credits and 7 snack credits

Yes

It depends, sometimes signatures can be a bad 'bang for your buck' value on the dining plan.

Jiko - Taste of Africa $10, Chicken $25, Dessert $8, Drink $2, Tax $4 - Meal Total $50 (Generously rounded up, too lazy to look up exact prices this morning :) )

Hollywood Brown Derby - Appetizer $9, Steak $32, Dessert $9, Drink $2, Tax $4 - Meal Total $56

If you spend your other credit on a Character Breakfast you'll break even on the day, if you choose a CS you probably won't.

Take a look at the menus and see what you think you would want to eat - not maximizing the plan, but what you'd want to eat if money were no object and you could get whatever you wanted.

Thanks for all the responses everyone....The deluxe sounds like an awful lot of food, I think we will go with the regular dining plan.

Sooooo we will have me, DH and my little girl age 4.

That would give us 21 total TS and 21 CS and 21 snack credits....correct????
TIA:flower3:

You will have 14 Adult TS Credits and 7 Child TS credits, 14 Adult CS Credits and 7 Child CS credits, and 21 snack credits.

I don't want to muddy the water but we are thinking about the deluxe dining for September vs the regular like we usually do. So my family of 4 (all adult) will get 3 "meals" and 2 "snacks" each for each night of our stay. So if we go to Narcoossee's for dinner and Crystal Palace on a given day we have simply used 3 of our "meal" credits each right??:confused3

Got it exactly. You could do (since you're in the MK already) say, The Plaza for lunch, and you'd have each used 4 meal credits in that day -- not a problem, it just leaves fewer credits for another day. (And may be a good way to use "extra" credits if you're doing a late check-in, early-checkout stay where you're more "nights" than full days.)
