Question about DDP

I have a question about the DDP. We've never really had an interest in using it before, but may possibly use it with the free promo. It says that a tip is automatically added for parties of 6 or more. If we were a party of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids) on the free DDP, would they just hand you a bill for the tip? I'll use Askerhus lunch as an example. The value for 4 adult and 2 childrens meals would total $215.10. Would they just hand you a bill for $38.72 (18% of the total)? I guess I'm just not sure how it works.

As DIS policy, all discussion about tipping should be directed here.

As a short, factual answer: yes, you would be presented a bill for any automatically-added gratuity. You may add more if you feel the service warrants it.
