Question about DDP credits

I know that many of the kids menus are limited, so if we are at a CS location and my 5 year old wants a hamburger/pizza that is not on the kids menu, can I use my adult CS credit for her or will I need to pay OOP? Not trying to cheat the system - just don't understand how it works since we haven't used the DDP before.

I know the credits are not interchangeable, but we will have 1-2 CS credits (for everyone) left over and I hate to lose them. Although I would rather pay OOP for something she would eat than use a kid's meal CS for something she wouldn't eat.

Children and adult CS credits are not separated. You will be able to order meals according to how many people are listed on your key card. If you have one adult and one child listed, you can order meals for one adult and one child and pay using the dining plan. In the above situtation, if you buy the adult meal you can give it to the child, but you can't buy two adult meals.

The credits you paid a child's price for are intended to be used to buy meals from the childen's menu only.

If my DD wanted pizza and it wasn't a kid's option, we would get an adult pizza and a kid's meal that either DH or I would eat. We would eat the kid's meal and then what was left of the pizza.

Thanks for the info! My girls are not picky eaters and they like mac and cheese and chicken nuggets - just not sure they will want them at every CS meal!!!
