Question about DCL transportation?

We are staying at the Polynesian for 6 nights before our 3 day cruise. We are taking Happy Limo from the airport to the hotel. I just called disney about picking us up at the hotel to take us to the boat. They don't pick up until 12 pm. That seems awfully late. I am not too concerned because we really don't care if we get spa ressies but we might want Palo. By then, wouldn't it be booked. Plus, we need ressies for the Flounder's nursery. All I can envision is on the 3 day cruise these things book quickly. What other transportation arrangements can I make from the hotel to the boat. Wondering if we should rent a car?

I am so confused! I'd like to get on the boat as early as possible so, we would enjoy the day there instead of rushing to get ressies that will be gone by time we get there.

If you are really concerned, use the towncar again to get you over the the ship. For just the three of you, that will probably be about break-even with the Disney transportation.
