can you add the DCL transfers once you book your cruise? Or do you do this at online checkin time?

As noted you can add them at anytime up to 3 days prior to embarkation day. If you don't add them during the original booking process, you have to call DCL to add them.

I believe DCL transfers MCO -> Port Canaveral can be added at MCO on departure morning. I don't recommend waiting that long, but I believe it's possible.

I have also read of passengers who added post-cruise transfers (PC -> MCO or PC -> WDW) during the cruise, prior to debarkation day. In either situation, transfer charges are added to your onboard account.

As mentioned, the only time you can add DCL transfers online is at original booking. You or your TA needs to call to add them at any other point.

Enjoy your cruise!

I was able to add my DCL transfers from MCO weeks after booking my cruise online.

There is a "View Details" link on your summary, then you see Transfers and option to add Insurance later too. I believe one of the standard emails from DCL after confirmation of my reservation also had the direct links.

You can definitely call them anytime, but it's not necessary and an easy workflow to add later. It simply adds the transfer costs to your total due online.

Yes, you just walk up and add them. And, if there's room they'll sell you a seat. I've never heard of anyone being denied, however. I believe, once onboard, you can add them up to a day or two prior to debarkation day. I don't think you can do it that morning.
