Question about cruise onboard offer with points.

We just got off of a cruise yesterday. I would like to take advantage of the "discount" off of points for booking another cruise. They said we had 3 days. However, the problem is that we are going in 2010 (January 30 if they have a sail date on that date). We booked one of our rooms using cash (they put us on 12-2009 cruise to be moved when dates come out), but are booking another using points. Can you pre-book a cruise that is not released yet? I know we have to pay 95$ booking fee, can it be changed from one in 2009 to 2010 in order to take advantage of the offer? It would save us over 60 points.

Call MS within your 3 days and tell them you want to rebook with the onboard discount. They note it in the system that you called within the correct timeframe but the cruise dates are not yet out. When they're out, call back and you'll get the discount applied. We did this 1x and it worked out just fine.
