Question about CRT seating

We couldn't get in to cRT last year, so did the epcot one. We got there at our time..... one of the first people outside for what ended up being group seating. People arrived.... and then they seated us all about the same time. Meanwhile, I was stuck waiting outside entertaining 2 kids for 30 minutes!!!

so does crt do that or do they just seat you when a table is open like chef mickeys?????

Last time I was there it was like your experience at Norway. I think they do it to keep the character interaction from getting too confusing. If they just immediately filled tables when they became entry, you'd have people coming and going every couple of minutes, and not all characters might get to all tables.

Uggh... with norway I wasted 30 minutes and then they seated us all within 3-4 minutes!! If this is the case, does anyone know what times they start the each round of taking people back??? thanks.
